To enable one to keep track of one’s health status, the Ayurveda describe fourteen indicators, the presence of all or most of which enables one to recognize the state of health. These fourteen indicators are as follows: 1 Proper Hunger for Food 2 Easy Digestion of Consumed Food 3 Normal Bowel Movement 4 Normal Urine Output 5 Normal Passage of Flatus or Gas 6 Feeling of Lightness of Body 7 Proper Function of Sense Organs 8 Normal, Instant Sleep 9 Feeling Fresh after Sleep 10 Good Strength 11 Good Complexion 12 Good Life Span 13 Good Mental Faculties 14 Normal Digestion
The presence of the above signs indicates Good Health - and their absence, poor health. As can be seen, Ayurveda is very much a people’s science - it is not a secretive knowledge known only to the practicing physicians. It is meant to be known to all for application in day-to-day life for the maintenance of good health. It is a complete way of life propounded specifically for the upliftment of mankind. It must be remembered that no other healing system starts with a chapter on advice for a Healthy and long life span. For More information and Treatments you can log on to www.ayurvedguru.com
